Each year around the holidays, the Powering America team of NECA and the IBEW, in cities big and small, work together to bring some cheer to their surrounding communities by doing what they do best – lighting installations.

ElectricTV, the organization’s flagship marketing and outreach network, traveled from Portland, Oregon, to Naperville, Illinois and from Evansville, Indiana to Boston, Massachusetts to share the story of how the IBEW Locals and NECA Chapters in each city that are volunteering their time and expertise to illuminate their communities in holiday lights.

From LED light shows timed perfectly with Christmas music, to the ‘Magical Mile’ of Holiday lights featuring dozens of displays, the Powering America team in each city has one common goal – spread holiday cheer!

The Powering America team consists of craftsmen and women who are members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and their signatory contractors—including those who are members of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA). This team delivers quality products at fair prices and offers commitment and a high standard of craftsmanship.
